This is a bi-directional integration of the two applications, Astea “AE” and the Microsoft “AX” products. This integration process includes transactions that generate invoices for the debtors (A/R) accounts, invoices for creditors (A/P) accounts and logistics transactions together with the associated ledger entries based on the account structure. In addition to the transactional data it is also necessary to synchronize both Customer and Vendors from the AE application (owner of the records) to the AX application and return financial data controlled by the AX application, settlement, credit etc. The integration process will use a Staging Table approach as the depository for all data to be moved between the two defined applications.
